All the Dots need to connect.

“You have to believe that the dots will somehow connect in your future” –  Steve Jobs

It has been a few weeks since I have been able to post a blog. I am not too sure why. I have been busy, but nothing that would have prevented me from posting – other than that I really do not believe that anyone reads my blog. SIGH!
However, I will persevere.
This is not only about Ryan – but the picture is of him winning a blue ribbon at Special Olympics Bowling. This was done through his school and I did not get to attend. I believe this is the first time that I have not been to this event. I have to keep telling myself, however, that even though he is different from the other kids in a physical way, he is still a teenager and does not need his Nana to accompany him places. He is all about his friends.
I also missed the annual Thanksgiving lunch with Emma’s school. This is the first year I have not been there. It wasn’t because she didn’t want me to come. She is the only one right now who is not embarrassed to have her grandmother come to school. But, I was given the opportunity to go to the Biltmore and do some shopping with my sister and a couple of her friends. As I have never been to the Biltmore, I went. We had a great time. How someone used to live at that level of opulence is so out of my imagination.
Anyway, I hope to be able to post some more before the madness of the holiday.
And if anyone needs a gift for a special child, please consider Ryan’s Book. He would be so honored.

Please check on book overview for a link to order.
THANKS
